How can a food and beverage manufacturer accelerate its energy transition while improving operational efficiency ? 

With the support of the European LIFE project AENEAM, Colian's Opatówek production site has implemented a series of ambitious energy initiatives, including the expansion of a solar power plant to more than 2.7 MWp, the deployment of real-time energy monitoring systems, and advanced steam system supervision. These actions have increased the share of renewable energy in the site's consumption to nearly 30%, reduced electricity purchasing costs, improved process efficiency, and strengthened the company's preparation for the implementation of ISO 50001 energy management practices.
