On June 10, 2026, the House of Culture of San Adrián hosted the public presentation of the San Adrián Industrial Energy Community (CEISA)—marking a key step forward in the transition toward a more sustainable and collaborative energy model.

The event brought together strong institutional and private-sector support at every level: European (LIFE Programme), national (IDAE), regional (Government of Navarra), and municipal (San Adrián Town Council). This collective commitment reflects the growing alignment across stakeholders in advancing industrial decarbonisation.

After more than two and a half years of development, CEISA stands as the result of significant collaboration and innovation. Notable enablers include the Government of Navarra’s pioneering call for Industrial Energy Communities, the role of Energy Community Transformation Offices (OTCs), and recent regulatory progress.

CEISA originates from the European LIFE project AENEAM, led by the Asociación de la Industria Navarra, with NASUVINSA as a key partner and the support of OTC Navarra and ALINAR.

Officially established on January 29, 2026, CEISA aims to foster collaboration among businesses through shared, efficient, and sustainable energy solutions—creating new opportunities and enhancing competitiveness.

Projects already underway include:

  • Shared photovoltaic generation
  • Sustainable mobility initiatives
  • Intelligent demand management systems

These initiatives have already secured funding under the Government of Navarra’s programme for industrial energy communities.

✅ CEISA represents a firm step toward a more collaborative, competitive, and sustainable industrial energy model—open to the integration of new companies ready to shape the future of energy together.

CEISA’s founding companies include CNTA (represented by Fernando Roldán and Susana Alonso), El Navarrico (with Belén Mencía), and INPRE (with Eva Muro).
In addition, other entities are also involved, such as the Municipality of San Adrián, General Mills, and Iberembal.
