The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) will return on the 9th of June, running for two days (9-11 June) both in Brussels and online.

This edition will mark the 20th anniversary of the EUSEW, where policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, civil society organisations, young community leaders, entrepreneurs and climate activists from within the EU (and beyond) can come together to collaborate on the construction of Europe’s sustainable energy future.

The event is organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy, and the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA). Multiple events will be held under the banner of the EUSEW, including: a high-level policy conference, the EUSEW awards, the European Youth Energy Day, the Energy Fair, and the Sustainable Energy Days.

Open calls for applications on these events are currently open; the call for applications to host a policy session are open between November 25th (2025) and January 22nd (2026), the call for the European Sustainable Energy Awards are open between November 25th (2025) and January 29th (2026), and applications to take part in the Energy Fair are open between January 13th and March 12th. The call for the European Youth Energy Day is set to open on January 27th, and the call for the Sustainable Energy Days will open February 17th.

All these events and activities are the perfect opportunity to engage with local communities and changemakers in Europe (and beyond) on achieving cleaner and greener energy.
